This will approach the fact that you are the idea person and take it from there. There are lots of engineers out there that you can hire. They can make or design just about anything you could possible dream up. Coming up with a good idea is generally the hard part. Keep in mind that this area tends to be a little more expensive to develop. If you are building some sort of electronic widget there are some considerations that you will have to ask your engineer to check out for added costs such as UL approval. |

| What it takes to get started: Come up with product idea. Find an local engineer that can produce the electronics portion. If your product has a case, you will need to find a plastics company to design and mold you a case, most engineers will have a contact they are use to working with. Marketing the item is as much work as the design. |
