Here is the perfect example of buying a machine that can instantly create a product and put you in business.  You have probably seen a few of these at your local mall.  They are usually at one of the smaller kiosks.  The problem is you have to man this station during mall hours and if sales are slow then you are slow.

If you expanded your horizons to the Internet you could either skip the whole retail experience altogether or enhance your retail location with online orders.  Thinking creatively is the key here.  You can cater to businesses that need shirts, logos or caps.  These machines do incredible work and they interface via software to your computer.  I have never seen anyone selling their work on Ebay.

I have never seen anyone link up or partner with web firms either.  When a business has a website made, chances are their header logo is designed and implemented into their business.  This is a good time for the embroiderer to make shirts, caps and other custom items for the business.  There are a ton of web design people on the Internet.  Just go to Craigslist and you will find plenty there for a good start.

The best part about this particular business is that you can rent the machines.  It is an easy way to figure out whether the business is right for you.  Think outside the box and develop a good plan before you even lease the machine.  Make a detailed business model before you take the plunge.
